Ann’s dream of owning an assisted living facility and doing it “her way” came true in July of 2003 when Al and Ann purchased Autumn Oaks. She understands that leaving home is a traumatic move for the elderly and is committed to giving the best possible care, while offering a comfortable, home-like atmosphere that feels like a family. She and the Autumn Oaks staff take a “hands on” approach to all aspects of the resident’s care.

With BS degrees in education and nursing and over 30 years of experience in geriatric care, Ann has gained the reputation of giving excellent care in all situations. Although
she functions as owner/administrator, her greatest joy is her personal relationships
with residents and families.

Al comes from a business and manufacturing background, but has found great satisfaction in being a part of Autumn Oaks. You will find Al repairing, remodeling, waxing floors or any of the other hundreds of things that go with maintaining Autumn Oaks. You may even find him chatting with the residents and taking the "fellows" for a tour of his handiwork. In his "spare" time he also keeps up with the business of payroll, invoicing, and paying bills.

It is a rare day when you do not find either Al or Ann involved with the daily routine of Autumn Oaks. Stop by for a visit, you will be amazed at what is going on!
